Purab Kohli, who features in Girish Malik’s Jal, which bagged the National Award for Best Special Effects, has a chiseled body and has been taking part in the Mumbai Marathon for the past four years

Healthy lifestyle

Drink lots of water, especially since it’s getting hotter everyday. And lots of fresh fruit and veggies.

Health achievement

The recent Wildstone soap advert required some bare body shots and the director wanted me to look fit. I have attained a fit body earlier using excessive protein and supplements, this time around I wanted to do it naturally doing free hand workouts and yoga. The compliments I received after the ad went on air made it a wonderful achievement.

Favourite exercises

Yoga, swimming, running. I do yoga most mornings. Sometimes to relax during the day or in the night before going to bed for a sound sleep, I practice some relaxation poses.

Breakfast can range from porridge to a dosa, to a paratha or poha. For lunch and dinner I generally have dal, chawal, sabzi and maybe roti. I love cold and leftover food!
