Neck-cracking sound is from air or fluid movement

BENGALURU: I hail from a cold hilly region. I used to experience joint pain when I was back home. Now in the city, it so happens that if I walk a bit too much and I come home, sit in one position, I am unable to move. I experience an excruciating pain especially in my hips and hamstrings. I am unable to walk or move for about two-three minutes. Then all of a sudden the pain is gone. What is the condition? Is it serious and will it affect me in the long run?

It is a little difficult to make an accurate diagnosis in this case because symptoms are vague and better consult an orthopedic surgeon personally. One possibility is that it may be a strain on the hamstring. If so, it will get better with physiotherapy or physical treatment.
There is another possibility and that is of a nerve related condition. However, the odds of this being a nerve problem are very low. In case it is a nerve problem, further investigation is needed with a scan. It will have to be diagnosed further.

I am 17-years-old. Recently I have noticed patches of blue spots on my thighs. I used to have one or two that would disappear, now there are about seven to eight. I have tried to observe what possibly could be the reason for it but there is nothing peculiar I do
The most common cause for blue patches appearing is varicose veins. Varicose veins are enlarged veins that are enlarged and can be commonly seen on the legs and feet. Most of these blue patches are asymptomatic, i.e., they will not cause any problems. If the spots are painless and if there are no local skin changes like ulceration or bleeding, then usually no treatment is required. However, in case further assessment is required, it can be done with the help of a Doppler scan. This test uses ultrasound waves to measure the amount of blood that is flowing through the arteries and the veins, especially the ones that provide blood to the arms and legs.
Every time I move my neck it makes a crunching and cracking sound. Especially while  moving it side to side. What is it? Should I be concerned?

These sounds are usually heard because of the normal clicking of the joints. It may also happen because of the movement of fluid, air, or water bubbles in the joints. Usually, they are of no medical significance and will not cause any problems in the future. There is no need to be concerned.

I am 21-year-old female. Every time I kneel, I get a sharp piercing sensation. It feels as if I placed my knee on a sharp pin. The pain persists on the left side of my left knee, at the bottom of my knee cap. What is it and what can I do to prevent it?

The reason for this issue might be cartilage problems under the kneecap bone, called patella. It may also be caused by some kind of local tendinitis. Tendinitis is a medical condition where the tissue connecting the muscle to the bone becomes inflamed. It can be diagnosed after an examination by an orthopaedic surgeon. If necessary, an X Ray can then be taken.
As for prevention, nothing can be said yet as the diagnosis has not yet been made. So, appropriate diagnosis should be made before preventive measures or treatment options are considered.
