Doesn’t gel well

Aroma Magic Under Eye Gel, as the name suggests, is supposed to do wonders to that area of the face that most women have a problem with.

Aroma Magic Under Eye Gel, as the name suggests, is supposed to do wonders to that area of the face that most women have a problem with. So when I came across this affordable product—a 20gm tube for `115—I thought the quest for the perfect product was over. Going by its 100-plus five-star reviews on websites, I was looking forward to using it.

However, the excitement didn’t last long. It is a transparent gel with no fragrance or smell. As you apply it, it never completely absorbs into the skin and sits there like a sticky blob. Even your lashes stick to it. I have a very sensitive skin and 10 minutes later, it started itching. On the third day, I woke up to dry, slightly puffy and wrinkled under-eye area. The promised magic of the Aroma gel, it seems, is not meant for those with sensitive skin. And in that case, the product should have come with a warning. Those of you with ‘touch me not’ skin, I suggest, please give this magic spell a miss.
