Kajal Aggarwal, who was last seen in the Akshay Kumar and Anupam Kher starrer Special 26, and in Tollywood along with Ram Charan Tej in Nayak, works out everyday. “Apart from exercise and eating healthy, positive thinking makes me look good and keeps me fit,” says the 28-year-old.
I begin my day with yoga, cardio and weight training. For me, fitness is a combination of exercise, proper nutrition, healthy lifestyle and a good night’s sleep. First thing in the morning, I have hot water with lime. I do yoga for an hour every day. Surya Namaskar in particular is the best exercise, you can do it anywhere since you don’t really require anything. I don’t mark my health against milestones. I feel it is important to be comfortable in your skin and be at peace with who you are.
I am very regular with my workouts. I do yoga four days a week early in the morning. I work out for 45 minutes. I do a combination of cardio and weight training. I also like to experiment with Zumba, Pilates and Spinning.
I feel I am physically very fit. Exercising isn’t an effort, it’s a way of life. Healthy mind and body makes you feel great.
I am a vegeterian and carry home-cooked food to the sets. I am not much of a diet person. I believe in eating high protein meals often throughout the day. I eat a balanced diet that consists of right amount of carbohydrates, proteins etc. I also drink a lot of water.
