Strive to be your own master healer

CHENNAI: Most of us are used to taking medicines to combat diseases in our body. Similarly, many of us resort to finding solace in spirituality to combat the problems related to our mind. Any kind of pain and sorrow we get has an impact on our body and mind. One must realize that sorrow contributes to the manifestation of pain in different parts of our body. When sorrow is removed, the pain in the body can decrease or even disappear.

All over the world, medical practitioners are searching for the causes of illness and use and prescribe various medicines to take away the pain from patient’s body. But is there a medicine that takes away the sorrow in our heart and the mind? Nobody has the answer to this!

Going silent inside can be a powerful antidote so that troubling thoughts end in our minds. For this, we need to stop looking at others and try to find out who we really are internally. To think ‘I am peaceful’ is a comfort for the heart and mind, one must allow inner peace to develop. As we consciously change the quality of our thoughts and ensure they are peaceful and positive, our mind subsequently becomes strong. Such positivity generate a power inside us. As this power accumulates within, it helps remove the sorrow inside. It is this power that heals the self and makes us a master healer.
