The primary requirement to experience a meditative state is peace. Meditation is a far cry for the person who is always on a tug of war with the world—complaining, irritated, angry, fighting and in a foul mood. The disciples of Sri Adi Shankaracharya give steps in the Moha Mudgara—Hammering on Delusions or Bhaja Govindam in other words.
The Master tells the student, having seen the self in all, to drop all desire, anger, greed and delusion. These qualities arise in our bosom only with the perception of duality.

You, a student on the pursuit of the highest truth in life of seeking the self, having transcended these petty squabbles try to intervene in public squabbles. Probably, the warring parties will leave their fighting and take it up with you—with their combined strength and renewed vigour. Gone with the wind of the quarrel is your precious peace of mind. And the Bhagavad Gita completes the result of that state of lack of peace of mind—Ashantasya Kutah Sukham—where is there any joy for the one who knows no peace?
Peace is necessary if we go on a silent quest within to know who we are or to realise the nature of our true self. Hence, the Master cautions the seeker against engaging in solving the squabbles of the people of the world. If one fight gets solved, another awaits to erupt.

If two people patch up now, there are numerous tendencies hidden within them that are ready to turn more concrete as desires, thoughts and actions.
If at all these squabbles do not stop, then such people will get cooked in the fires of hell. Hell, is not something out there which we seek after death—just like heaven as well is not an imaginary place. Hell, is that situation where we find everything difficult, robbed of all energy, none around to help and we trod the path all alone. Such situations, happening continuously without a peace or joy break, is hell.

You see your own self in all and see everyone else in you. Drop the differences from person to person, between you and the world, you and the others, and you and the various situations you encounter. When these differences die within, then you discover that the world has always been a beautiful and peaceful place to live in. Never was anything wrong at any point of time in the world.
