India’s largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki is ready to sting the competition with a sportier avatar of the WagonR, called the WagonR Stingray.
The Stingray comes with an all-new front, featuring a slim and sleek chrome-finished grille, a large air dam, and redesigned fog lamp housings and to top it all, new projector headlamps which you will find first in the segment. The other features include gunmetal grey-coloured alloys, side skirts, roof-mounted rear wing and a chrome back door garnish with the ‘Stingray’ embossing in bold.
In engine, expect no changes. It is powered by the same 998cc, 3-cylinder mill as found on the WagonR producing 68PS @6,200 rpm. Maruti Suzuki claims that Stingray will return a mileage of over 20 kmpl.
The company has priced the car from Rs 4.09 to Rs 4.66 lakh (ex-showroom).
