Xiaomi launches entry-level Redmi 4A at Rs 5,999 in India

The new entry-level Xiaomi Redmi will be available via Amazon India and Mi.com from Thursday 23 March 12 pm.

Priced at Rs 5,999, the new Xiaomi Redmi 4A was launched in India on Monday. 

The new entry-level Xiaomi Redmi 4A will be available via Amazon India and Mi.com from Thursday 23 March 12pm IST.

It will be available in Dark Grey and Gold colour options starting Thursday on the two sites. However, another variant Rose Gold will go on sale via Mi.com from April 6.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4A that sports a polycarbonate body has a hybrid dual-SIM card slot, and is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The device runs on MIUI 8 processor. 

With a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display, it is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 SoC coupled with the Adreno 308 GPU and 2GB of RAM.

The Redmi 4A will have a 13-megapixel rear camera along with an LED flash, while the front camera bears a 5-megapixel. 

The device also comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage and is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. 

Xiaomi Redmi 4A that weighs approximately 131 grams has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, and Bluetooth v4.1 among its connectivity options. 

The smartphone is powered by a 3120mAh battery with fast charging support.
