iPhone X to be available today from 6 pm in India

In India iPhone X goes on sale from 6 pm today. The phone was on pre-orders since October 27 on Amazon and Flipkart and authorized Apple retailers. 

The phone will be available starting today in offline stores. 

Unlike the previous years, this year the telecom companies have rolled out offers for iPhone X. Telecom companies like Airtel and Jio have partnered with Apple to sell the iPhone with some plans. 

The price of iPhone X in India starts at Rs 89,000 (64GB). While you will have to pay Rs 1,02,000 for the same phone with 256GB storage version. The phones come in two colours- silver and black. 

The stock of the iPhone X is comparatively less than the number of customers who wish to buy it. It was reported that the phone was out of stock within half an hour of the opening pre-orders.  

Apple has claimed the iPhone X to be 'the best iPhone' till date. The iPhone X comes with new features which are not present in any other iPhone. The home button is absent in the new phone. The phone opens up with a unique Face-ID. The phone includes facilities like wireless charging, augmented reality. There are also reports that the new phone has dual batteries. The phone runs on the latest iOS 11 by Apple. 

Apple has improved its camera in the new series and iPhone X comes with dual 12-megapixel wide angle lens. The front-facing camera is a 7-megapixel FaceTime HD camera.
