Over 10 lakh units of OnePlus 6 sold in 22 days after its launch

KOCHI: OnePlus 6, a popular Android smartphone by OnePlus, has sold 10 lakh units in 22 days after its launch. OnePlus organised a press conference in Kochi to elaborate achievement on OnePlus in India and global market.

Vikas Agarwal, General Manager, OnePlus India said that the company now owns the one-third share in premium smartphone market. A China-based company with manufacturing unit opened in India, OnePlus sells smartphone through Amazon will be introducing offline sale points in major cities across India. Kochi will have such point in the second after OnePlus major metro cities in the first phase.

"We are receiving good response from Kochi. With the launch of OnePlus 6, we expect to have the highest market share in the premium smartphone market," Agarwal said.

OnePlus 6 will be launching in red colour having 8GB RAM and 128 GB storage priced at 39,999 on July 16. OnePlus 6 is the first smartphone to use Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor.

The advanced processor along with high capacity storage and RAM turns OnePlus 6 as most advanced mobile with fast performance in the market now. The 64GB and 128 GB storage versions cost Rs 34,999 and 39,999 respectively.
