Lava Iris Pro 30 (Rs 15,999)

From Lava International, comes the Iris Pro 30, designed with the very Apple-esque theme ‘Art meets Smart’. Weighing a mere 114 grams, Lava calls it the lightest smartphone in its screen size category in India. That screen itself is a 4.7-inch IPS Sharp display and is supported by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor. In the 7.5mm-thick body, you will also find a 2000mAh battery with CABC technology which should last 30 per cent more than conventional batteries, an eight-MP primary autofocus camera and a three-MP front-facing camera.

Karbonn Titanium X (Rs 16,490)

The Titanium X is neither made from titanium nor from carbon, but is a good looking blend of a 5-inch capacitative touchscreen with a plastic body. Inside you will find a 1.5GHz Quad Core processor supported by a 1GB RAM. While the 2300mAh battery should give you good talk time, the internal storage of 16GB can be expanded up to 32GB. Running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the phone has a 13-MP primary camera with autofocus and dual flash capable of full HD recording, while on the front there is a 5-MP camera.

Intex Aqua Octa (Rs 19,999)

Intex calls its newest smartphone the Aqua Octa, ‘India’s first True Octa Core processor’ phone. It comes with a six-inch capacitive touch OGS HD display. Inside along with the MediaTek MT6592 octa-core processor, you will find 2GB of RAM and a big 2300mAh battery which gives you six hours of uninterrupted talk time. On the back you will find a 13-MP autofocus camera and on the front a five-MP camera for those video calls. Running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, the dual-SIM phone comes with 16GB of internal storage and 5GB of free cloud memory.

XOLO LT900 (Rs 17,738)

Xolo is famous for its Android smartphones that run on Intel chips. But its latest smartphone LT900 runs on a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Dual-Core processor which is supported by 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, expandable up to 32GB. On the front, you will find a 4.3-inch HD IPS One Glass Solution Display made from Corning Glass. On the rear, there’s a eight-MP shooter with a BSI sensor while the front has meagre one-MP. Running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the LT900 comes with apps like Kepplr Cloud Space pre-installed.
