The 2014 Indian Auto Expo will be held as two independent shows—one comprising automotive manufacturers and the other consisting of component manufactures. For the first time, these two shows will be held in different locations; the Component Show is being hosted at the Pragati Maidan in Delhi between February 6-9 and the automotive manufacturers show is being hosted at the Indian Expo Mart in Noida between February 7-11.
The Indian Expo Mart has an advantage over the older Pragati Maidan due to its ultra modern facilities that allow event managers to build special modern enclosures that let the manufacturers display their products.
On display at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo will be cars, MUV and SUV manufacturers, two- and three-wheeler manufacturers, special and concept vehicle displays, commercial vehicles, supercars, superbikes, vintage cars, engineering companies, oil companies, automotive design and technology companies and media houses with automotive publications.
The Indian Expo Mart in Noida will have 14 exhibition halls, three outdoor hangers, an outdoor area for activities and food stalls and a total of six entry and exit gates. The Indian Expo Mart will also have parking for about 5,000 automobiles, and there will be a constant shuttle service, between the parking lot and the venue, run at regular intervals.
