Hyosung has launched a limited edition GT250R. Ammar Alvi takes a look at this wonder.
To celebrate the first anniversary of HY Ryders, which is a Hyosung owners’ club, the Korea-based two-wheeler manufacturer launched the GT250 R Limited Edition (LE) at the DSK Hyosung showroom in Pune. The GT250 RLE has been finished in a gleaming shade of hurricane yellow to make it stand apart from the standard 250cc offering. Limited to just 50 units, each vehicle would sport the signatures of its owner.
The changes made on the bike are only cosmetic and no changes have been done to the powerplant. It is powered by a V-twin, oil-cooled, 249cc mill producing 28PS @ 10,000rpm and 22Nm @ 8,000rpm. The bike has been loaded with features like double disk front brakes, twin projector headlamps, upside down forks, EFI and adjustable rear sets. The GT250 R Limited Edition has been priced at Rs 2.97 lakh.
