Samsung Gear Fit

Samsung has come up with three smartwatches this year. While two of those—Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo—are incremental updates on last year’s much-criticised Galaxy Gear, the third is the most exciting of the three. Called Gear Fit, it introduces a curved AMOLED touch display and is positioned between a smartwatch and a fitness device.

One of the biggest selling points of Metawatch is the amount of information it conveys in one glance on the e-paper display. You are provided with four screens for widgets which show you everything from clocks, calendars and weather to stock prices and battery information. It works with both iOS and Android.

Neptune Pine

You have to be a very geeky geek to use the Neptune Pine. That is because unlike all the smartwatches which are wirelessly connected to your phone, the Neptune Pine acts as an autonomous device. With the provision for a SIM card and the ability to make voice calls it is a small Android phone on your wrist.

Sony SmartWatch 2

Using the 1.6-inch sunlight-readable display, the SmartWatch 2 puts your favourite apps on your wrist so you can do everything from controlling music to checking your Facebook feed. It works with any Android phone running Android 4.0 and above.
