Goa floor test: Chief minister Manohar Parrikar wins trust vote

Parrikar, who was sworn-in along with nine ministers last evening, received support of 22 legislators.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government in Goa, headed by Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, faced the crucial floor test in a while, as a special Assembly session convened for the purpose. Parrikar, who was sworn-in along with nine ministers last evening, received the support of 22 legislators, two more than the halfway mark of 20 in the 40-member Assembly.
