Cancer June 22 - July 23
Cancers are the most capable of deep and romantic love. Governed by the moon, they are known for their nurturing, compassionate, and sensitive dispositions along with being sympathetic, loyal and become fiercely protective of people they are attached to. Just the way crabs protect their soft interiors with hard outer shells, Cancerians too, when feel threatened, are quick to retreat into their armour. Deeply intuitive and sentimental, they keep their feelings locked away in their hard shell.
However, just as the moon’s appearance is constantly transforming, Cancers also have a fickle nature and tendency toward moodiness. On one side if they are showered with too much attention, they feel smothered while on the other side, they also need constant attention and get too clingy at times, which eventually makes them very insecure in their relationship. Cancers must remember that misunderstanding and miscommunications are commonplace, and a simple disagreement does not make their lover their enemy.
Scorpio October 24–November 22
Scorpions are very passionate people and have passion for all elements of their life. Intuitive, resourceful, hardworking and determined, they are very dedicated to their work. Governed by Pluto, they can become fixated on maintaining power and control. They value their emotional privacy and it’s not easy for them to let someone into their heart. If they fear their partner is not equally invested in the relationship, they can become possessive.
They may even create conflict to test their lover’s devotion, a kind of toxic behaviour that often backfires. Though, when a Scorpio finally forms a soul connection, their lover is locked in, possibly for life, yet they can be at times inconsiderate of their partner’s feelings, engulfing within them anger management issues, making them turn from perfectly fine to full-on rage in seconds. They also keep their feelings to themselves, blocking the entry of their partner into their inner self. Scorpions need to know that partners in relationships are entitled to their individuality and emotional autonomy.
Pisces February 20–March 20
Creative and talented, Pisceans are emotionally intelligent, kind, understanding and empathetic. They are known for their romantic creativity and otherworldly sensibilities. Being in a relation with them is like journeying into another dimension which is mystifying, exciting, and enchanting, all at the same time. In a committed relationship, however, the tides are not as easy to navigate. They carry with them the ghosts of relationships past and that often gets in the way of their current relationship as they are more reserved and are often misunderstood for this reason.
There are hence a lot of pent up feelings within them as they cannot express themselves, and thus they need a lot of recovery time which could tire their partner. Just like the fishes that symbolises them, since they lack emotional armour, their first move is to swim away, harbouring a feeling of not being loved enough. Pisces must keep in mind that their partner’s perceptions of reality are as worthy of contemplation as their own and that feedback is not tantamount to censure.
