Maoists killed a 26-year-old villagerin Sukma district of Chhattisgarh on suspicion that he was apolice informer, an official said Thursday.
Maniram Baghel, a resident of Kumharras village underKukanar police station area, was murdered by Naxalites lastnight, Sukma Superintendent of Police Abhishek Shandilya toldPTI over phone.
Around a dozen armed rebels took Baghel out of hishouse and slit his throat with a sharp-edged weapon, he said,adding the body was dumped on Jagdalpur-Sukma Highway, around400km away from capital Raipur.
