2 Killed in Landslide on JK Highway in Ramban

Two persons were killed in a landslide on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Two persons were killed in a landslide on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.

A truck, which was on its way to Jammu from Srinagar, got trapped in landslide near Battery Chashma in Ramban district late last night, police said.

Police and rescue teams rushed to the spot and pulled out the body of one Uttam Singh last evening, they said adding another body of Deepu was recovered this morning from the landslide.

After conducting legal formalities the bodies will be handed over to their families for the last rites, police said.
