Won't Form Pre-poll Ties, Says INLD

NEW DELHI: Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) has said that it would not enter into any pre-poll alliance with the BJP or any other party in the upcoming elections in Haryana.

Dushyant Chautala, 26, the youngest member of the Parliament said, “Our party made a decision on April 15 that we will fight all the 90 Assembly constituencies in Haryana. At that time, the results of the Lok Sabha elections were not even declared. We are ready to fight alone. The party leadership will decide if there is any probability of a post-poll alliance.”

He also said that the BJP won’t be able to repeat its Lok Sabha poll performance as it facing a leadership crisis in Haryana. He however refused to comment on the party’s rocky alliance with the HJC.

During an interview with Express, the young leader said that the INLD’s main focus would be the rampant corruption and deteriorating law and order situation in the state.

He said that  his party would also strive for the revival of the state’s collapsed education system and would concentrate on skill development and re-building of education infrastructure so that the youth gets jobs in all sectors.  On the issue of forcible land acquisition, he said the party would look into the situation and take necessary action.
