MUMBAI: Actor Preity Zinta, in a letter to Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria, has alleged that industrialist Ness Wadia was cruel and inhuman to her in the past.
Ness put burning cigarette on Preity’s face and locked her inside her room, the letter said. Her mother had insisted on filing police complaint, but Preity had refused, saying she would break up with Ness. On June 30, Preity had met Maria, after returning from Los Angeles, in connection with an assault complaint she filed against Ness, and handed over the letter. She has complained that Ness abused and manhandled her on May 30, during an IPL match at Wankhede Stadium.
