MODI.jpgNEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday met the BJP MPs from the five Northern states as part of the efforts to bring about greater coordination between the government and the party. And the exercise was the first of its kind undertaken by the PM. After the Budget was passed, Modi wanted to hear firsthand the feedback from his elected party colleagues. On account of the Budget being a major policy document and statement from the newly elected government, the Prime Minister asked the MPs to apprise the people of the “bold decisions” taken by the NDA Government in the last 60 days. According to Modi, the Centre is working towards taking the benefits of its policy decisions to the last person and that the MPs must convey this to the people. “The government has started moving towards change in the polity of the country,” BJP sources said.
