Amethi Gets Highest Allotment in Budget Under Faizabad division

The Samajwadi Party-led Uttar Pradesh Government has sanctioned Rs 236.92 crore for Rahul Gandhi's constituency, highest among the five districts of Faizabad Division, a senior government official has said.   

According to District Magistrate Jagat Raj Tripathi, the state government sanctioned Rs 236.92 crore for Amethi, while the other four districts under Faizabad division-- Barabanki was sanctioned Rs 167.06 crore, Faizabad received Rs 150.29 crore, Sultanpur Rs 124.34 crore and Ambedkar Nagar got Rs 122.06 crore.            

The jurisdiction of all these five districts falls under Faizabad Division and the budget was sanctioned under annual district plan budget for the financial year 2014-
