A destitute woman was allegedly raped by a youth in West Bengal's Howrah district.
Police said the youth Mohammed Rajesh forced the woman into an bank ATM having no security guard at Podra under Nazirganj police outpost last night and raped her.
A group of people returning after attending a marriage reception noticed the act and overpowered the culprit before handing him over to the police.
Rajesh was produced in the Howrah Court and remanded to five days of police custody.
