Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday said his party’s decision to project him against Narendra Modi from Varanasi should not be seen as a symbolic fight and he would be contesting to defeat the BJP’s prime ministerial candidate. “Narendra Modi has announced that he will contest from Varanasi ... So I am going to Varanasi. I read in newspapers and websites and that this is a symbolic fight ... I must tell you that we are going there not to contest elections, but to defeat Modi,” said Kejriwal speaking at a conference ‘Roadmap to Indian Muslims’.  He accused the BJP and Congress of leading all other political parties in corruption and spreading communalism. He also lashed out at BJP’s claims that voting for Modi would bring stability and said if stability was what people wanted then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has given maximum stability in the past 10 years.
