Senior BJP leader and sitting MP from Aonla constituency Maneka Gandhi today filed her nomination paper for Pilibhit seat currently held by her son Varun Gandhi.
She filed her nomination papers in three sets before Deputy Returning Officer Amitabh Prakash Srivastava.
Though Maneka said she would contest the elections on the issues of corruption and development, she evaded a question regarding Narendra Modi wave.
On being asked whether she would take support of 'Har-Har Modi, Ghar-Ghar Modi', she said in Pilibhit it would be 'Har- Har Maneka, Ghar-Ghar Maneka'.
The BJP leader also inaugurated her election office at the station road.
