Is your rally more important than my school: Student writes to PM

“Is you rally more important that my school?” asked the class 8 student Devansh of a school in Alirajpur in a letter to the Prime Minister.

KHANDWA: A Madhya Pradesh schoolboy has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi complaining that he was not able to go to school because its buses were commandeered for Narendra Modi’s rally in Babhra in Madhya Pradesh.

“Is you rally more important than my school?” asked the class 8 student Devansh of a school in Alirajpur in a letter to the Prime Minister.

The letter has gone viral on social media.

Devansh wrote that he was told by his teachers that the school would be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday because the buses were required to transport people for the Prime Minister’s rally.

“A lot of people attended your rally in America. But they did not come to the rally on school buses,” Devansh wrote to Modi.

After the letter went viral on social media, local authorities decided not to use school buses for crowd mobilization.
