JAIPUR: Adman Piyush Pandey was given only six minutes to pitch his story about Gujarat tourism to Prime Minister Narendra Modi when he was the chief minister of the state, the award winning marketing guru said today.

Pandey, who designed the popular 'Khushboo Gujarat Ki' campaign, was recalling his experience of working with Modi on the project.

"The PM, on a lighter note, had then said that I will keep on speaking about Gujarat but you have to give a story only in six minutes.

"I told him that I know about my product. That is why people from Ratan Tata to a gatekeeper like my creative advertisements," he said.

Pandey said making advertisement was not "rocket science", but not "common science" either.
"It is about imagination and creativity to touch consumers in a simple but effective manner," he said.
The renowned adman was in the city for an event marking 20 years of media group Dainik Bhaskar.
