Express train derailment: Seven trains diverted, one cancelled

At least 45 persons died and over 150 suffered injuries when 14 coaches od the Indore-Patna Express derailed near Pukhrayan.

LUCKNOW: At least 45 persons died and over 150 suffered injuries when 14 coaches of the Indore-Patna Express derailed near Pukhrayan in dehat district of Kanpur in the wee hours of Sunday. 

According to the information reaching here, railways have diverted seven trains and one train stands cancelled until further notice. 

The trains that are diverted are: 12107 (Lucknow Sup Express), 11124 (Gwalior-Barauni Mail), 19167 (Sabarmati Express), 111015 (Kushinagar express), 111016 (Return Kushinagar Express), 12104 (Lucknow Junction-Pune Superfast express), and 12511 (Raptisagar express).

Train number 11123, Barauni-Gwalior Mail is cancelled.
