JAIPUR: A 25-year-old flight lieutenant of the Indian Air Force allegedly committed suicide at his residence in Barmer district in Rajasthan, police said. Sumit Jaiswal, hanged himself from the ceiling fan in his official quarter at Uttarlai air force station yesterday.

The body was shifted to the mortuary of the district hospital and his family members in Guwahati were informed about the incident, SP, Gagandeep Singla said. "The body will be handed over to the family after they arrive here," he said, adding "the matter is being probed."
