Alleged stalker kills girl's father and relative in Madhya Pradesh, threatens to kill cops before shooting self

BHOPAL: A 30-year-old man shot dead the father and a relative of a girl he had allegedly been stalking for months, at a point-blank range in Ramnagar area of Satna district on Friday-Saturday intervening night.

The cops from four police stations of Satna district are currently searching for the accused psycho killer Rajkumar Kol in the jungles of Baraundhi Ghat on Singhpur hillock (450 km from Bhopal).

Incidentally, the accused has over last few hours repeatedly told the cops, including Ramnagar police station in-charge KN Mishra over the phone that he still has four live bullets left with him. While three will be used to kill cops, the fourth one will be used by Kol to kill himself, as he won't allow himself to be arrested alive, Satna district police sources quoted him as having said.  

The sensational double killing happened at around 2 am, when the girl's father Vijay Bahadur Singh (50) and relative Vimal Singh (27) were asleep outside latter's house in Devri Kalan village.

Hearing gun shots sound, when the other family members rushed out of the house, they saw the accused Rajkumar Kol flee.

"We got information about the crime at 2.15 am and have since been trying to track and nab the psycho killer hiding in jungles," said additional superintendent (Satna) Rameshwar Yadav.

Investigations revealed that Vijay Bahadur Singh, a farmer was cultivating his small piece of land in backwaters of Bansagar dam since last three months. The accused Rajkumar Kol, who owned a neighbouring agricultural plot, had been making advances towards Singh's 22-year-old daughter. The girl's father had refused to marry his daughter to Kol as he is from a tribal community, while the girl is from Thakur community.
