CHANDIGARH: Haryana police on Wednesday arrested a principal of private school in Sirsa who used to, besides passing lewd remarks, show girls porn videos and harass them.

Police sources said that the 45-year-old Randhir Singh, principal of Oasis Public School in Sant Nagar village of Sirsa was arrested on charges of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, sexual harassment and criminal intimidation in Rania Police Station of Sirsa.

Three girls, aged 11, 15 and 17 respectively narrated the story to the police. One of the girls said that the principal use to allegedly call her to his office and used to seek sexual favours from her.

The principal, also, purportedly, asked the girl to give a letter to another 17-year-old girl. But the 17-year-old girl handed it over to her brother.

When the principal was confronted by the girl’s family, the principal allegedly swallowed the letter so that there was no proof, said sources.

The brother of the girl along with some villagers went to the police and reported the matter.
