JD(U) removes two leaders from party posts

General secretary Javed Raza and secretary Virendra Singh Viduri have been removed. 

NEW DELHI: The Janata Dal (United) today removed two of its leaders from organisational responsibilities for indulging in "anti-party activities".

"General secretary Javed Raza and secretary Virendra Singh Viduri have been relieved of their organisational responsibilities for indulging in anti-party activities," party spokesperson K C Tyagi said.

The two were considered close to rebel leader Sharad Yadav.
