Four women devotees killed, 31 injured in road mishap in Shimla

The police said injured are stated to be out of danger while the bodies have been sent for postmortem.

SHIMLA: Four women devotees were today killed and 31 others injured when the vehicle they were traveling in fell in a gorge famous Devi shrine of Chintpurni in Una district, police said.
    
The vehicle this evening suddenly went off the road and fell into a 20-foot deep gorge when the devotees were returning to Jaswan, they said.
    
Chanchala Devi, Seema Devi, Anita Devi and Suman Devi were killed in the mishap while the injured devotees have been admitted to a nearby hospital, police said.
    
DSP Jitendra Chowdhary said the devotees belonged to Behar Jaswan in Una.
    
The injured are stated to be out of danger while the bodies have been sent for postmortem, police said.
