CBI sends Delhi Police plea to issue RCN against Bhandari

The CBI has forwarded a  Delhi Police request to Interpol to obtain a RCN against arms dealer Sanjay Bhandari.

NEW DELHI: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has forwarded a  Delhi Police request to Interpol to obtain a Red Corner Notice (RCN) against arms dealer Sanjay Bhandari.
CBI being the nodal agency for Interpol in India, the agency forwarded the Delhi Police request to the global body for issuing the global arrest warrant or the RCN. 

Bhandari is facing probes by multiple agencies including Enforcement Directorate (ED), Income Tax Department and the Delhi Police for various offences like money laundering and Official Secrets Act (OSA)

Bhandari had recently fled the country after the Delhi Police booked him under stringent OSA.
