Man wanted in over dozen criminal cases nabbed in UP

MUZAFFARNAGAR: A criminal wanted in over a dozen cases of murder and loot was arrested after an encounter in Bhabisa village in neighbouring Shamli district, police said here today. Manoj Sharma was carrying a reward of Rs 12,000 on his arrest, said assistant superintendent of police (ASP) Jagdish Sharma.

The accused was also wanted in many cases in neighbouring Uttarakhand, the ASP said, adding a gun and cartridges were recovered from his possession.
