State buses to run between Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan on 199 routes

The transport minister of UP, Swatantra Dev Singh said the government buses would be run on 199 routes between the two states.

LUCKNOW: A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between the transport authorities of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan to improve transport between the two states. 

The transport minister of UP, Swatantra Dev Singh said the government buses would be run on 199 routes between the two states.
    
While UPSRTC buses will cover 56,774 km every day in Rajasthan, the Rajasthan Path Parivahan Nigam will run its buses on 56,558 km daily in UP, the minister said.
     
The agreement will allow both states to directly connect cities likes Jaipur, Ajmer, Haridwar, Meerut, Bikaner,Ganganagar, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Varanasi, Gorakhpur,Sambhal, Allahabad, Sawai Madhopur, Alwar, Kannauj and others with bus services.
