GHAZIABAD: A woman today allegedly severed her husband's vital organ with a knife for having an extra-marital affair in Khoda Colony here, police said.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Anil Yadav said the 35-year-old woman had a heated argument with her husband over his alleged illicit relationship with a Delhi-based woman.
She also alleged that her husband was not taking care of household needs. This morning, an argument erupted between them when she asked him to buy bread, police said.
Flying into a rage, she cut off his organ, following which he was rushed to a private hospital in Noida.
A case has been registered against the woman on the charge of causing grievous injury, they said.
