BHOPAL: A private practitioner doctor has been arrested in Jhabua district of Madhya Pradesh for sharing an objectionable social media post showing a sadhu standing near a meat shop.

The doctor identified as Aatik Khan (30) was arrested on Tuesday and booked under Section 505(2) of IPC which deals with conducing public mischief. He was produced before a local court which sent him into judicial custody, sub divisional officer of police (SDOP-Jhabua) SR Parihar told newindianexpress.

The facebook post shared by the doctor seemed to be mocking at closure of illegally operating abattoirs by the BJP government led by chief minister Yogi Adityanath. 

Three days back, a man Shabbir Mansuri was booked by the cops in Indore for allegedly posting objectionable images of the new UP CM on the facebook.
