SRINAGAR: Life started normally here and in other places in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday after a day's shutdown.

Shops, public transport, educational institutions and other businesses opened normally here as less security men were seen around.

Banks, post offices and government offices started functioning normally.

No separatist group has called for a shutdown on Thursday.

Clashes had erupted on Wednesday at some places including Kulgam, Baramulla and Budgam between the security forces and the protesters in the aftermath of deaths of three civilians during a gunfight in Budgam district on Tuesday.
