National Investigation Agency DIG Praveen Kumar dies of brain infection

Son-in-law of BJP MP Jagdambika Pal, Kumar was admitted to the Max hospital in Saket in South Delhi for brain infection.

NEW DELHI: DIG of the National Investigation Agency Praveen Kumar died of brain infection here on Monday morning, sources said.

He was 46.

Son-in-law of BJP MP Jagdambika Pal, Kumar was admitted to the Max hospital in Saket in South Delhi for brain infection.

He died on Monday morning.

A 1998 batch IPS officer of the Jharkhand cadre, Kumar was appointed as the DIG of NIA on September 6, 2017 for a tenure upto June 19, 2019.
