Gangster Vicky Tyagi murder case: CB-CID files charge sheet against four more persons

MUZAFFARNAGAR: The CB-CID today charge-sheeted four more persons for their alleged role in shooting down gangster Vicky Tyagi in a crowded courtroom here in 2015.

The agency has given clean chit to seven accused, including DySp Anuj Kumar, police inspector Sachin Malik and constable Vikas Kumar, said SP (CB-CID) Arvind Sain.

The CB-CID today filed a charge sheet against Sorabh Malik, Vikas, Shahnazer and Pintu Malik in a local court.

The agency has already charge-sheeted the main accused Sagar Malik, his associate Brijbir Singh, Saeed Mulla and Ranjanvir Singh in the case.

Vicky Tyagi, a history-sheeter of Charthawal police station, was shot dead by Sagar Malik at a courtroom here on February 16, 2015.

Malik entered the courtroom masquerading as a lawyer and shot dead Tyagi.

Following the incident, Malik was arrested from the spot Brijbir, was nabbed the next day.

Police had registered a case against 11 people, including four police officials.

The Uttar Pradesh government had handed over the probe to CB-CID.
