Gujarat delegation invites Jharkhand CM Raghubar Das to attend inauguration of Statue of Unity

The Statue of Unity is which has been built in Kewadiya of Gujarat will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 31.

RANCHI: A delegation from Gujarat led by revenue minister Kaushik Bhai J Patel met Chief Minister Raghubar Das today and extended him an invitation on behalf of the Gujarat government to participate in the inauguration of Statue of Unity.

The revenue minister from Gujarat is leading a 12 member team from the state which includes eight MLAs and four IAS officers, including the Home Secretary of that state.

After meeting the chief minister at his residence the delegation later also visited Raj Bhawan where they also extended an invitation to her to be present at the programme.

The Statue of Unity is which has been built in Kewadiya of Gujarat will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 31.

The statue is the world's tallest statue of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel.
