Samajwadi Party not to move disqualification petition against Shivpal

LUCKNOW: In a major relief to Shivpal Singh Yadav, who has floated a new political outfit and announced to contest Lok Sabha polls in Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Friday said he would not move any disqualification petition against his uncle.

"I don't want to give any impression that injustice has been done to anyone," he commented.

Talking to reporters here on Friday, Mr Yadav said that he was not at all concerned with the activities of others who are not with the party now.

The announcement of Akhilesh Yadav gives a relief to Shivpal who is presently SP MLA from Jaswantnagar seat in Etawah.
