12 injured in group clash in UP's Muzaffarnagar

MUZAFFARNAGAR: At least twelve people, including three children, were injured in a clash between two groups of the same community over minor dispute at Rohana Kala village here, police said on Monday.

The clash occurred on Sunday evening in which both the groups threw stones at each other, Station House Officer of Kotwali police station Anil Kaparvan said.

Police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control, he said, adding extra police force has been deployed in the village to ease the tension.

The 12 injured, including three children Palak (7), Harshit (3) and two-year-old Ankit were admitted to a hospital, the SHO said.
