Lately, we are seeing various state governments coming forward with attractive partnership options for entrepreneurs. Most recently Rajasthan government has come up with some really cool partnerships and opportunities for startups.

Here’s an overview on what’s new for you

‘Challenge for Change’ is a partnership opportunity by Government of Rajasthan. In this scheme, you would be empowering Rajasthan to be the “Digital-sthan” of the country. “The youth, working professionals or start-up entrepreneurs can come forward with their innovative and creative ideas or take up projects offered by the government. In order to foster startups there is no criteria for prior turnover, experience and earnest money deposit,” CM Raje announced on March 21, 2017 that work contracts worth up to `1 cr shall be sanctioned.

This year, the challenges put forward for the startups are quite intriguing. They include 1) improving shelf life of agriculture production, 2) conversion of barren to productive land, 3) reducing water-intensive crop cultivation and 4) detection of mine-blasts using remote monitoring system and 5) boosting Rajasthan wool industry. The startups that can come up with the best solutions shall be selected. The website states – “The youth of the country has the potential and can add fresh perspective to the initiatives undertaken by the government.
