Jammu, Dec 7 (PTI) The police claimed to have arrestedsix persons and recovered heroin, cannabis and poppy in theJammu region.
A car was intercepted at Kullian in R S Pura belt ofJammu district last evening, a police officer said. Threepersons sitting in the car were frisked and about 46 grams ofheroin recovered from them, he said.
The police also arrested a drug peddler and recovered 400grams of cannabis in Ghadsoo area of Doda district last night,he added. In another case, 6 grams of heroin was recoveredfrom another person in Udhampur district last night, theofficial said.
Another drug peddler was arrested from Jammu bus standand 14 kgs of poppy was recovered, he added. PTI ABADS.
