Dollar Ind Q2 net jumps 30pc to 14crDollar Ind Q2 net jumps 30pc to 14crKolkata, Dec 7 (PTI) Hosiery company Dollar Industriestoday reported a rise of 30 per cent in the Q2 period endingSeptember, 2017 at Rs 14.87 crore against Rs 11.38 croreregistered in corresponding period of FY 16.

The revenue from operations were also higher at Rs212.72 crore for the period under review compared to Rs 197.16crore in the same period of FY16, the company said in astatement.

Lower material and finance costs fueled theprofitability of the company.

The company has four manufacturing units in Kolkata,Tirupur (TN), Delhi and Ludhiana and enjoys a 15 per centmarket share in the branded hosiery segment in India.

Dollar Industries has recently started business inNigeria in Africa to enhance its export revenue, the companystatement said.

Its existing export markets are in the Gulf, theMiddle East and Nepal, the statement added. PTI BSM KKKK.
