Pune, Dec 7 (PTI) Managing committee of theMaharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) has agreed to adopt therecommendations of the Justice R M Lodha committee.
"In a recent meeting held here, managing committee ofthe MCA agreed to implement the Lodha committeerecommendations and also decided to implement anymodifications, the (Supreme) court may order in future," MCApresident Abhay Apte said.
"We want to stabilise the associationfinancially...how long we can continue with the status quo.
For last one and a half years, they have stopped the funds andwe now want to be financially stable. Stalemate should beresolved," Apte told PTI.
Following the managing committee's approval, theresolution (to adopt Lodha panel reforms) will now be placedbefore the general body of the Association, which is likely tobe meet this month.
The Supreme Court had asked state cricket associationsto implement the reforms suggested by the Justice Lodhacommittee. PTI SPK NRBKRK.
