Nagpur, Dec 7 (PTI) Two naxals, including a woman,have surrendered, Gadchiroli police said today.
The surrender of the two naxals, each carrying a cashreward of Rs 2 lakh on their heads, comes a day after sevennaxals were killed in an encounter there.
Police identified the woman naxal as Kamla Ramsu Gawdeof the Korchi dalam. She was esrlier with the Kekdi dalam,police said.
The other naxal has been identified as Nagesh aliasMatursaay Madavi. He joined the Pallemadi dalam inChhattisgarh in 2011, police said.
The two have been involved in serious offences likekillings, encounters and blasts using Improvised ExplosiveDevices (IEDs), police said.
Police said that in 2017, a total of 19 naxal cadrehave surrendered as part of the surrender and rehabilitationscheme started by the state government and the Gadchirolipolice. PTI CLSBNM.
