New Delhi, Dec 7 (PTI) The body of an unidentified womanwas today found at an under-construction building in Rohiniarea, police said.
A watchman of the building told the police that lastnight a man with his wife and a one-year-old son asked forfood and shelter from him, Deputy Commissioner of Police(Rohini) Rajneesh Gupta said.
He told the police that he gave them food and handed atarpaulin so that they could go and sleep on the first floorof the building, the police said.
This morning, the watchman heard the child crying andwhen he went upstairs, he saw the woman's body and the husbandmissing, they said.
It was suspected that the husband allegedly killed her,the police said.
The police was questioning the watchman about theidentity of the couple. However, some contradictions werefound in his statement, they said.
The police said they have sent the pictures of the womanto the neighbouring police stations to identify her. PTI SLBKJ.
